Procrastination: Keeping up with yesterday

I'm a big procrastinator. Huge.

I just got done with 17 Calculus homeworks (yes, "homeworks", just like Br. Brian used to say...wow that class was funny) on the day before the exam. It's funny, they seem to weigh a significant amount when you hold them in your hand. Like they weigh more than 17 blank sheets of paper. Weird.

This is cheesy, but here it goes: I feel like a 'mathlete' training for the big marathon. If you remember what a 'mathlete' is (if by any chance you were part of the Math Olympiad @ Marist), give yourself a high-five. (If you want to stop reading after being encountered with the corniest thing you've ever read, I don't blame you.) But I do feel very mentally tired, and at the same time, satisfied. Like when you run for a while on a treadmill. It's tiring at first, but when your body releases endorphins, it's all good. Must be the same thing here. (And it must have made me loopy enough to want to post a blog entry.)

On one hand, it would've probably been easier to do them when they were due. A lot easier. On the other hand, I can't see any other way I would have studied for the final other than by doing 17 assignments randomly distributed throughout the semester. So in that sense, it's a blessing. But I think that next time, I'm just gonna do them when they're due.
